How Do Ultraviolet (UV) Filters Work?
Some unhealthy elements can't be blocked like sediments or adsorbed like chlorine.
As water passes through this UV filter, an ultraviolet light bulb emits UV rays. UV-C light provides an additional treatment stage. Combined with your existing filtration, the UV lamp adds a supplemental layer of treatment to your water, too.
- UV treatment does not add chemicals to your water and does not leave any bad taste or harmful chemicals in your drinking water.
