How Do Ultraviolet (UV) Filters Work?

We’d noticed a leak that was coming from the end of the UV light where the wiring had fried due to the faulty leak. The company was wonderful to send a replacement and everything working great now. Wonderful customer service!
Purchased the system with a UV light. Easy enough to put in. I checked the TDS before n after. 545 before and I have 3 main filters! After it was 28. My strugg is I no longer have ice cubes. I have water at the fridge n it’s cold. Seems odd to have water but no ice. After Emailing tech support they tell me I need to install a whole house water pump n pressure tank. So I’m off to Lowes. Wish I had known before hand that this could happen. No complaints with the water. You have to realize that it's just water. Nothing good or bad is left in the water.

This filter has high quality and goes far and beyond worth its price, I had a little issue with one of them but Customer service was very helpful,and the main point is that they honor their word
Well I received my UV light, opened the packaging to do the install and it’s missing the two fittings and the two mounting brackets. The package was sealed when I received it. I called customer service, they apologized and said they would send out the parts. Been a week + still waiting on parts. Coved-19 is slowing down shipping I assume.
