Finally glad to have an RO with remineralizer. I am a BMT patient and depend upon clean water. No more bottled water(never know what your going to get) lol My husband even hooked up the RO to the ice maker in the refrigerator as well. Highly recommend.
Great system easy to install and water taste great!
The NuAqua system is the second system I've owned. I bought one prior to that on Amazon at a higher price and worse performance. I've tried several different RO membranes, and none of them have worked very well. I got 90-93% filtration with 420-460ppm tap water and then it would degrade quite a bit over time. The NuAqua membrane is giving me a 95-97% reduction is measured ppm, and the degradation over time is much slower.
I hadn't installed a reverse osmosis system since i moved to Oregon over 20 years ago and this system with 5+ additional filters was easier to install than the original . The water tastes great and the output is more than adequate.
I've been having a lot of gut issues recently when I started only drinking water and tea only mostly water. The doctors did tons of test even a colonoscopy on me and didn't know what was wrong. I tried just drinking bottled smart water instead of the county water and my gut issues went away. So after some research I went with this reverse osmosis system and I don't seem to have the gut issues drinking it so I think I'm good to go. As long as I can get replacement filters when I need them.
Its easy to install. All instructions are clear and with picture. You don't have to be expert to install it. Works as advertised. So far its around a month no problem, water test good..
Easy to install with great taste and results
Install was easy and up and running in no time. It was more put together than the directions indicated-a huge plus. Water went from over 700 tds down to 38. Checked today after about 45 days of use and it reads 27. We have a well at a cottage also. Its only a matter of time before my wife will be wanting another unit installed there.
Easy to install. Now we don’t need to worry about buying bottled water.
Highly recommend this system with booster pump.
Good product. Filter was easy to install.
We recently moved out of our home in which I had installed a smaller, 4 or 5 stage RO system. I didn't realize how spoiled we were until we moved into an apartment in a suburb of a large city. Lots and lots of municipal contaminants....YUCK! The water was absolutely disgusting. We were buying 3-4 gallons of water a day from Aldi, Wallyworld, etc. Even at $0.75/gal, it was starting to add up quickly. The previous RO system that I used was out of stock at Bulk Reef Supply which turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because then I found NuAqua. I'm so very grateful for this system. I'm very happy to have paid the extra for the Alkaline stage which, in my limited understanding, means we have to re-mineralize much less often.
What a difference in taste. Even rinsing my mouth out in the bathroom with the standard city water after brushing my teeth - I can taste how disgusting the city water really is, especially after getting spoiled again by good RO water.
I am one very happy customer and I have already referred one friend and one family member to this system.
The water system was easy installation and the water taste good. We love the water because it taste clean. We tried to measure different bottled water vs our water system and it turned out almost the same. We received the package very well packaged but there was a missing piece. I directly contacted nu aqua thru email and they responded quick plus they sent the lacking piece ASAP. We highly recommend this company because they are affordable and at the same time excellent product (NO BS).
During the build of my new house, I knew we needed a good R/O system. The water supplied to us has a lot of disolved solids (more on that in a sec) that adversely affects the taste.
During the interior framing of the house, I decided to place the 7-Stage system in my utility room mostly for ease of access to the filters. I installed a 1/2" PEX line from the future location of the unit all the way up to the kitchen for the fridge and sink R/O faucet. I also installed a second R/O faucet at the utility sink to fill the pets' water.
My installation method might be a little 'odd', but for us it works great!
Back to the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
Nu Aqua sends with their systems a nice little TDS meter. Just follow the directions and you'll see the difference instantly in your tap water TDS and the water dispensed by your Nu Aqua system!
In our case, the tap water is reading over 550, - well over the EPA limit for drinking water quality.
The filtered, R/O water produced by the Nu Aqua system has a TDS reading of .......26 !!!
I'd guess the only way to get it lower would be if you had distilled and deionized water.
If you haven't purchased your Nu Aqua system yet, all I can say is why not? There's no excuse to go anywhere else but here at Nu Aqua! Great products, supplies, competitive prices and high quality.
Easy to install, great taste and 10 TDS after 260. Just in case, I also put an inexpensive smart water leak sensor on the cabinet bottom, for peace of mind.
