NU Aqua 4-Stage Countertop Reverse Osmosis System with Hot Water

So far all is good.

The water TDS in our city ranges from 500-900 which are levels right on the border of “Unfit for Human consumption” so says the Government. This filter is the only one that truly reduces the TDS and crap inside the water. Compared to the hard city water the water that comes out of the Nu Aqua CT RO feels like lotion.

I love this system for the convenience and also it produce hot water immediately which I loved. However I wish the water tank is bigger, less noisy, and I don't have to throw away the water when refilling, I found it wasteful. Other than that, it was great, it produced such a great tasting water!

This water filtration machine is awesome. Great machine for people who don’t want to install the filter system under the sink. It’s also nice because of the instant hot water feature if you’re a tea drinker.

Finally a reverse osmosis system that comes with instant heated water. thus functionality is common place in elsewhere in the world but the US for some reason so I’m glad someone finally included a heating element in their countertop water filter system.

On screen tds readings, filter life are useful features to have.

The machine is a little larger than I expected but not a dealbreaker.

This placement unit was very simple to install and is working perfectly well. We immediately noticed the great difference in the taste of the water and we have increased our consumption ever since. Great buy!

I needed to return my product because I did not have space for it in my kitchen. Every customer service rep I communicated with answered my questions fully and in a timely manner.

We bought this filter because we have a softener and the water tends to taste a little salty.

The good:
The filter removes the salty water taste very well, the water tastes pretty close to bottled purified water.
It has an excellent purified to drain water ratio (5:1) and a large drain water reservoir (1.6 gal if memory serves), so we don't need to drain and refill it too often.
We haven't had to replace them yet, but the filter cartridges appear to be relatively inexpensive, given how long they're supposed to last.

The bad:
The filter has indicators for incoming water TDS and filtered water TDS.
Even immediately after draining and refilling the water reservoir, the filter indicates 999 TDS in and anywhere between 9 to 30 TDS out.
We found this to be grossly incorrect, the sensors exaggerate the filter's TDS removal performance. We had the TDS input tested professionally and with our own TDS meter, and it measured 480, while the filtered water measured around 90.
The fact that the measurements as skewed in opposite directions for input and output TDS makes me believe the manufacturer might have done that intentionally, which would be very questionable.

The product is great assuming the quality of the water is what it claims to be. Wish had a larger capacity.

Love it, just started using after almost a month from date of purchase.. only wish for water reservoir have more capacity, but its okay, it fits the description as countertop ro water system...

I was purchasing 2 cases of 6 gallon spring waters every two weeks. It was becoming a hassle and expensive. I researched the best reverse osmosis filters and came across the Nu Aqua countertop system and so far, so good. I’m also happy that the filters only need to be changed between 9 months and 24 months (depending on the quality of already treated water from your city, etc.). It was a great investment!

Great product. I only drink water from this filter.

I've used other RO systems and Nu Aqua is superior in many ways, namely the taste, hot water function, less water waste and the TDS meter. Excellent componenets, excellent taste are a big deal!

Very convenient.
One thing that can be improved is the size of the water tank. I wish it was larger.

I love this machine. My water is great and it has cold and hot. I’m not sure how long the filters will last so I’m getting some spares.

I really love this machine! It is very easy to use. I have used others that require you to empty the tank constantly and it was very annoying. This is so easy, you just add the water and go. And it tastes as good as their other filters too.

I am exceptionally pleased with my new filtration system It is a countertop and it is easy and efficient.
I have been using tap water (city utilities) without a filte for 7 years. I wish I had started using reversed osmosis 7 years ago. Impressive---As long as it does not dysfunction any time soon

Good RO system. Only real downside is refilling the reservoir, but other than that it works great.

The countertop system is a good size for our countertop. We have 2 people and a dog and we refill the tank once or twice a day. The hot water dispenser is a life saver. No more electric kettle. The water tastes cleaner and fresher. My husband says it seems lighter. We use a small lazy Susan so the tank is easy to fill. There was another review that said it's noisy. We find it really quiet. It's also very easy to use. There's only a few buttons- so very easy to figure things out. The lock on the hot water is great. All in all, we're very happy with the system. I'll likely get one for my parents too. We're looking into adding some minerals drop to get the right minerals back in.

I was looking for a countertop water filter for a long time, and I am so glad I decided to purchase the NU Aqua. Definitely having a hot water option is a huge plus since I drink a lot of tea too. It is also very helpful when having people over because they love to refill their water and teas by themselves! It looks nice too. I love it.

After getting fed up with Waterdrop Countertop RO system, I was recommended the NU Aqua one, and I am glad the water tank is enclosed, no more accidentally knocking a half tank over and spill the water all over the counter.

The hot water is a very nice additional, although I do wish there is a 212F (100C) option, but 200F would do.
