Watch installation video a head of time. It was very helpful knowing ahead of time what to expect. Installation took me a few hours but I had no surprises.
When I first installed this unit with the remineralization unit it was extremely slow for about 2-weeks. It still takes a couple of seconds to kick in but nothing too bad. I love being able to have clean filtered water at the highest quality I can get. This is an excellent unit and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Combined with a filtration system this UV purifier assures good clean drinking water. It's working fine so far. It only turns on when the water is running through it, so you will not be replacing expense, clumsy bulbs every 6-9 months. I am so glad they came out with a UV LED version ...it makes this system almost maintenance free.

We purchased this unit along with the 600gpm RO unit and demineralization filter. Very happy with the purchase and easy install.
Installing was pretty straight forward with no issues. However I am disappointed with the water flow, not strong enough.

The NU Aqua Ultraviolet (UV) 1140 GPD LED Water treatment has a limited product warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase. The whole unit itself is to be replaced according to its lifespan (6-7 years).
