Description

This NU Aqua 5 micron sediment filter is a direct replacement for the NU Aqua Whole House Filtration System. This filter is 4.5”x20” and will directly work with most standard whole-house systems. Produced using premium melt-blown polypropylene fiber these filters provided a high capacity for holding dirt and sediment resulting in a 20% longer life than most standard sediment filters.

This sediment filter effectively removes particles from well water, with customers saying it "does the job" and keeps water clean. Multiple shoppers reported 2+ years of reliable performance. One installer noted it prevents heat exchanger issues. However, some experienced algae buildup over time and customer service delays for replacement guidance. Easy installation.

  • Used it for over 2 years and it has worked great. It is a must have for any house.
  • The filter and whole house filter are doing a great job.
  • Working as stated. Easy hook up.

Filters that Filter.

The whole house filter system does the job. I've used it for over 2 years and it has worked great.. It is a must have for any house. I just installed an On-Demand hot water system. The installed asked about the quality of my well water because fine particles can interfere with the heat exchanger. I showed him the whole house filter system and he wished more of his customers had them. It would cut down on his service calls.

No Longer Delighted

I sent several emails trying to get answers for the refill elements for my filter unit. I had to guess, then got the wrong element, then had to go through the process of getting them returned. If they had responded in a timely manner, a lot of hassle would have been avoided.
