Description

This NU Aqua 5 micron sediment filter is a direct replacement for the NU Aqua Whole House Filtration System. This filter is 4.5”x20” and will directly work with most standard whole-house systems. Produced using premium melt-blown polypropylene fiber these filters provided a high capacity for holding dirt and sediment resulting in a 20% longer life than most standard sediment filters.

This sediment filter effectively removes particles and dirt from well water. Customers said it "does the job" and works great for whole house filtration. One installer noted it prevents heat exchanger issues. However, some shoppers experienced algae growth over time and reported poor customer service responsiveness regarding replacement elements.

Filters that Filter.

The whole house filter system does the job. I've used it for over 2 years and it has worked great.. It is a must have for any house. I just installed an On-Demand hot water system. The installed asked about the quality of my well water because fine particles can interfere with the heat exchanger. I showed him the whole house filter system and he wished more of his customers had them. It would cut down on his service calls.

I sent several emails trying to get answers for the refill elements for my filter unit. I had to guess, then got the wrong element, then had to go through the process of getting them returned. If they had responded in a timely manner, a lot of hassle would have been avoided.
