The first stage of this filter is a spun polypropylene sediment filter that is designed to do the heavy lifting. Effective at removing sediment, rust and larger particles from your water which helps lengthen the lifespan of the other filter in your system.

The second stage of this filter is a carbon block filter that removes chlorine, lead, metals, arsenic, asbestos, mercury, VOC’s taste, and odor.

Quick, easy to replace

These filters really are easy to change, which makes the system quite user friendly. My only two suggestions would be a printed handout reminding the user how to make the change or a QR code to a handout or video. I know it was easy, but people can still be intimidated when an overflow of water might exist. Users will have bubbles from their machine for a while after the filter replacement.

Regarding the presence of tiny bubbles, it's a normal occurrence during the initial installation and startup to have some air in the system. This should naturally clear up over time. To ensure optimal performance, please make sure to flush the system after replacing the filters.

Where is the remineralizer filter?

The remineralizer should have been included, with the replacement time put on all filters. Out remineralizer wasn’t replaced until 2 years after not knowing. A little disappointed that it wasnt included for those of us that have it. Would have given you 5 stars otherwise. Happy holidays

Too long a wait

I ordered 2 replacement filters and it took approximately 2 months to arrive

Disappointed

I ordered a new filter and it took 6 weeks to receive it. I had to buy bottled water again. If I can’t depend on getting replacement filters in a timely manner I will have to consider another system.
